Obituary of Brenda K. Gobble

Brenda K. Gobble 73, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at her residence. Brenda was born in  Huntington, WV to the late Fern Fronk and spent most of her life in Kingsport. She retired from State Farm Insurance Agency after over 15 years. Brenda especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.

In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Gobble; brothers, Charles and Walter Arnold; sister, Rebecca Arnold.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Salyers and husband Dwayne; son, Ron Gobble; six grandchildren, Travis Taylor, Matthew Gobble, Chris Harr, Skye Salyers, Allie Gobble, and Anthony Gobble; four great-grandchildren; sister, Jeannie Deason and husband David; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1pm on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home with Pastor Luther Russell officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:45pm.

Graveside services will follow at Fordtown Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
