Larry A. Potts, 77, of Gate City, VA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at his home.
Larry was born on June 14, 1945 in Kingsport, TN, a son of the late Walter F. Potts and Maggie (Gross) Potts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Casey, Louise McMillian and Betty Lou Ketron; brothers, Charlie, Jack and David Potts.
Larry was a Deacon at New Beginning Free Will Baptist Church, Church Hill, TN. He retired from AFG Glass Plant.
Surviving are his wife, Diana Potts; daughters, Margaret Hensley and husband Mark, Angie Perry and husband Chris; sons, Kenny Potts and Shannon Potts and wife Ruth; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Hall and husband Milburn, Virginia Vaughn.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Sunday, September 25, 2022 at New Beginning Free Will Baptist Church, 184 Morning Star Rd, Church Hill, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Beginning Free Will Baptist Church, 184 Morning Star Rd, Church Hill, TN 37642.
