Beatrice "Bea" Tyree Barger, 93, of Hiltons, VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
She was born on April 10, 1929 in St. Charles, VA, a daughter of the late Albert and Addie Tyree.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Barger; sisters, Agnes Goode and Ruth Tyree; brothers, Ralph, Clay and Arvil Tyree; son-in-law, Terry Ketron.
Surviving are her daughter, Anita Ketron; sons, Randall (Kaye) Barger, Darrell Barger, Stanley (Lisa) Barger and Wendell (Pam) Barger; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Tyree and Joyce Voegele; brother, Don Tyree; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery, 5395 E. Carters Valley Rd, Gate City, VA with her grandson, Pastor Jeremy Ketron officiating. Everyone planning to attend are asked to assemble at 11:50 am at the cemetery for the service.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great-Grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glenwood Community Church, 2524 McMurray Hollow Rd, Hiltons, VA 24258.
