Obituary of Edna Mae Grizzle

Kingsport - Edna Mae Grizzle, 90 of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2018 at Ridgecrest Manor in Duffield following a long illness. She was born in Scott County, VA but had lived in Kingsport for several years. She attended Freedom Fellowship Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Grizzle; her daughters, Karen and Sharon Grizzle; son, Larry Grizzle; sister, Betty Sarber; brother, Jimmy Kerns.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Billie Hixson of Kingsport; son, Hollis Grizzle and wife Sandy; brother, Johnny Kerns and wife Valerie; 2 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City. Friends may also call anytime at the home of the son, Hollis Grizzle.

A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe Hill and Denny Hass officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Kerns Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m.
