Obituary of Thelma Ruth Snapp
Thelma Ruth Snapp 80, of Kingsport was called home, carried in the arms of angels. She went to be with her Lord and Savior where she is truly home on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Holston Manor. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Liberty Church when she was able. Thelma was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Lawson; infant daughter, Lisa Snapp; step father, Lester P. Campbell; mother, Suzie Campbell; father, Reva White; brothers, Teddy and Eddie White; sister, Shirley Davis.
Survivors include her sons, Bill Snapp, Jim Snapp and wife Theresa, Ed Snapp and wife Lisa; daughter, Brenda Feagins and Tammy Roberts; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Bob White; special companion, “Kitty Cat”; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Pastor Johnny Gibson officiating.
Graveside services will follow at McPheeter’s Bend Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the McPheeter’s Bend Missionary Cemetery Fund at 129 River Road Church Hill, TN.
