MADDLINE O. BUSICK
Kingsport – Maddline Busick, 66, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday night (June 20, 2018) at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and was of the Holiness faith.
Maddline was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Busick; mother, Retha Poore; father, Howard Poore; Son, Eddie (Toot) Salyer; sister, Alliene Massengill; brother, Bill Oaks; and granddaughter, Alleine Busick.
Maddline is survived by her daughters, Wilma Massengill, Lisa Whitaker, Amanda Wexler; sons, Rick Busick, Terry Busick, Johnny Salyer, and Sam Massengill; brother, James (Ed) Oaks; special cousins, Gene Smith and ”Buckshot’; a very special brother-in-law, Ronnie Busick; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews and special friends.
Calling hours will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday (June 24, 2018) at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in downtown Kingsport or friends may also call anytime at the residence. A funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Sunday (June 24, 2018) in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Larry Bledsoe, officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
