Obituary of Angel Darlene Jobe

Angel Darlene Jobe, 13, of Norton and Sullivan Gardens went to be with the Lord Friday, June 29, 2018 at her residence in Norton.

Angel was born on November 25, 2004 to Scotty Jobe and Helen Mays. One thing that can be said is that Angel lived up to her name, She is the Angel to her family and friends. Her greatest joy was being the “Oldest” sister to all her siblings and all the benefits that came with it.

She adored her dog Athena who she called her baby. She attended Sullivan Gardens Middle School and Coeburn Middle School. She loved music, making people laugh, and making people feel loved and accepted. She is and will always be loved and missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Harold Jobe and Arthur Harlan; and paternal aunt, Virginia Richards.

She is survived by her mother, Helen Mays and husband, Brandon; father, Scotty Jobe and wife, Christin; six siblings, Faith Jobe, Scarlette Mays, Isaac Jobe, Noah Mays, Josie Mays, and Dawson Jobe; maternal grandfather, Ken Witt; maternal grandmother Kitty Rapier and husband Arlis; paternal grandmother, Barbara Jobe; other grandparents, Donna Mays, Linda Wade, and Linda Harlan; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who love her dearly.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 4^th, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport, 520 Watauga St, Kingsport, TN 37660. A memorial service will follow with Evangelist Arlis Rapier officiating. The family requests that everyone attending wear something pink in honor of Angels favorite color.
