Obituary of Betty J. Hart
BETTY J. HART
Kingsport- Betty J. Hart, 69, of Kingsport, went to be with her Heavenly Father late Sunday night (July 15, 2018) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. Betty was a graduate Ketron High School and was a graduate of ETSU Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Business. She loved to work with arts and crafts and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a former member of Bloomingdale Baptist Church and attended Sunnyside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Hart; parents, Curtis and Frances Jenkins; a brother, Bill Jenkins.
Betty Hart is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Frankie Hart; a son, Michael Hart; grandchildren, Zoe Hart, Tanner Hart, and Lily Hart; her sisters, Wanda Bellamy and Dianna DeBord; brothers, Danny Jenkins, Dr. John Jenkins and Dr. Joseph Catlett along with several nieces and nephews. A special thank you goes out to the staff and nurses at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center for the special care given to Betty.
A visitation will be held on Saturday (July 21, 2018) from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport. A service will follow on Saturday (July 21, 2018) at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Phil Kestner, officiating. Music will be provided by Dan Moneyhun.
