Obituary of Johnny Allen Morrison

Johnny Allen Morrison, age 57, born February 5, 1961, passed away following an extended illness, on Monday, August 6, 2018 at his residence in Rogersville. He was a 1979 graduate of Surgoinsville High School and a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He was also a retiree of Eastman Chemical Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Pauline Vermillion of Rogersville.

He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer LaGrange of Germany; granddaughter, Emily Pauline LaGrange of Germany; brother, Jeff Morrison and wife, Carla, of Killen, AL; sister, Marcia Vermillion of Kingsport, TN; and 3 nieces and nephews, Andrea Strait (Brad), Justin Morrison and Taylor Toner (Max).

There will be Memorial Service held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill with American Legion Hammond Post #3/265 performing military rites and Pastor George Winegar officiating.
