Obituary of Jonathan Habtezghi Measho

Jonathan Habtezghi Measho 34, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Indian Path Medical Center. Jonathan was an avid basketball player and also enjoyed music. He was a joy to be around and was known for making people laugh. Jonathan was a loving son, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his parents, Habtezghi Measho and Tibletz Tesfayohannes; brothers, Meron Measho and Samy Measho; fiancé, Nancy Digiamo; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Jack Edwards officiating. Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends at Higher Grounds Baptist Church for food and fellowship.

Graveside services will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
