Obituary of Donna Faye Eads

Kingsport – Donna Faye Vanzant Eads 62 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Kingsport, she grew up in Gate City before moving back to Kingsport. She was a member of Higher Ground Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynton and Lelia Bloomer Vanzant; brothers, Donnie, George and Danny Vanzant; sister, Connie Morris.

Donna is survived by her husband of 43 years, Mike Eads; daughter, Ashley Miles and husband Jason; son, Dustin Eads; granddaughter, Chloe Eads; grandson, Jacob Miles; sisters, Ann Bradshaw, Anita Taylor and husband Mike and Deborah Vanzant; brothers, Lynton “Bud” Vanzant and wife Jewell and Gary Vanzant and wife Linda; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Higher Ground Baptist Church.

A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Pastor Ronnie Owens and Dr. Eddie Cole officiating. Music will be provided by the Higher Ground Choir.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Holston View Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 11:55 a.m.
