Obituary of Mary Lou Stump

MARY  LOU  STUMP

Florida-  Mary Lou Feazell Stump, 85, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in West Palm Beach.  She was born in Marion, Virginia and  grew up in Kingsport.  Mary graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 1952.  She completed her X-Ray Technician training at Holston Valley Hospital.  Mary was preceded in death by her father,  William Feazell; her mother , Gladys Feazell; a sister, Peggy Ann Crigger.

Mary Lou Stump is survived by her son, Michael Anthony Stump; her daughter, Cecile Denise Stump; granddaughter, Samantha Lou Roy (Michael) and great-grandson, Noah John Roy along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private gathering of family and friends will take place on Monday, October 22, 2018.  A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Family and friends attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m.  You can send an online condolence to the family by visiting www.cartertrent.com.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.  Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Stump family.
