Obituary of Calvin Lee Schierbaum Jr.

Calvin Lee Schierbaum Jr, 58, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at his residence.

Lee was born on June 30, 1960 in Kingsport to Calvin Lee Schierbaum, Sr. and Joye Hurt Schierbaum. He was a graduate of Dobyns Bennett High School and East Tennessee State University. He was an Eagle Scout and was very proud of his lifelong commitment to the Boy Scouts of America. Lee was a lifelong member of Mafair United Methodist Church.   

He is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Lee Schierbaum, Sr.; and several aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Joye Hurt Schierbaum; sisters, Patricia Schierbaum and Sue Schierbaum Skelton; nephew, Christian Skelton; along with several cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 pm to 4 pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Mafair United Methodist Church, 1409 E Center Street, Kingsport, Tennessee 37664. A memorial service will follow at 4 pm with Rev. Amy Probst officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lee’s memory to The American Heart Association or The Kingsport Animal Shelter.
