Obituary of Belva Ruth Willis

Surgoinsville – Belva Ruth Willis, 91 of Surgoinsville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and loved her family very much. Belva will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Willis; children, Patsy Willis, Larry Willis, Nancy Messer, Helen Stapleton, Judy Eidson and Shirley Walker.

Belva is survived by her children, Robin Willis, Alfred Willis, Luther “Little Hoot” Willis and wife Deb, Danny Willis and wife Maggie and Tony Willis; special daughter-in-law, Linda Willis; 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Belva’s wishes were to be cremated. A private family gathering will be held at a later time.
