I met Norma a few years ago at Higher Ground Baptist Church. I was also in the ladies class where she taught with others. This was a very special lady. I instantly loved her and connected with her. She was a mentor to me. Such a loving, kind, caring lady. I got a call from her not too long ago asking me about coming back to class and church soon. And as soon as I decided too I found out she had passed and my heart just broke. She was so knowledgeable and rooted in the word. She was such a funny, great person I called my friend. I am really going to miss her. She used to talk about the day she gained her wings. Wonderful lady. Prayers and condolence to her family, friends, and loved ones. Love you Norma!!!

Greg, Jeff, David & Family: I was really saddened to hear of your mother's passing. As you know we'd been next door neighbors for many years and she'd kept me abreast of all of the unimaginable things she'd been facing for years but also the great hope and extra quality time she'd been able to gain with her latest treatment thanks to Dr. Lennis Livesay's active participation in her treatment. Even when I know she couldn't have felt well, she always had a smile and thankfulness to God for being alive to meet another day. She was a great neighbor, as were both of your parents, and her friendly cheerfulness every time you saw her drive by or met her working in the yard, that always made the day better for me. I know she'll really be missed by a lot of people but she had full confidence in her final destination and of those waiting there to meet her at the end of the line. Please accept my condolences.

To Norma’s family: I am sorry to hear of Norma’s passing. I met her through Bible Study Fellowship several years ago, and our paths have crossed several times since then. She always had a smile and an encouraging word for those she met. May God comfort you in the loss of this special lady.
