Mr Brown was my 7th grade teacher at RVille City . He was an outstanding teacher and builder of character. I remember many lessons I learned under Mr Brown . The main one was the difference between right and wrong and how to behave. I cherish these great memories and am honored that he was my teacher and a character builder as well. I am saddened to hear of this loss and will have this family in my prayers! My wish for today is that we could still have teachers like Mr. Harry Brown who deeply cared about his students. I also am glad that some time ago I was able to thank him for putting me on the right path in life!

Was saddened to hear that Mr. Brown had passed away. He was always one of my favorite teachers and I still remember a lot of things he talked about in class at Rogersville City School. He really cared about his students and always talked to us about more than just the subject material. I always enjoyed getting to see him when I would visit at Grace. He was a good man and I know he has a home in Heaven now.

Mr. Brown was a wonderful teacher at RCS. We loved to hear his tales of his farm and he had a great sense of humor. He and Mrs. Inez were good friends to my mom and dad and they were very supportive of me and my mom after my father's passing.

Mr Brown was a light to me during my time at RCS. When he saw me later in life he always knew me, or perhaps at least made me feel special by pretending that he did. What a precious soul!

Mr. Brown was my brother, Donald Howe's, teacher and also my 8th grade teacher. He was always very kind and very helpful. He never had to raise his voice to keep order. I loved that he would throw in a Bible lesson occasionally. A wonderful legacy he left behind.

Oh Mr Brown, I so loved my time at Rogersville City School and having you as my homeroom teacher, I think in 8th grade in 1985??. I remember that we listened to your Jerry Clower records in class quite often. You were a wonderful and loving teacher and you will be missed by all who know and love you. Thank you for your service to our country and your service to so many children over the years. Our sincerest condolences to Mr Brown's family and friends during this very difficult time.

I loved Mr.Brown. He was my science teacher and I still remember different things he said and the way he taught his students. Even then he knew kids learn differently so he used music, film and textbooks as aids in teaching. He was a good man and remains one of my alll time favorite teachers.

This saddens me so badly. Mr. Brown was my seventh-grade teacher. I respected him so much. And over the years, each time I ran into him, he never failed to call me by name.
I want to be that kind of teacher.
My condolences to you, Mrs. Brown. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Sherry Y. Case
