Obituary of Kacie Michelle Lawson
Kacie Michelle Lawson 33, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Kacie was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grand-daughter and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kacie was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Patton “Jerry” Lawson; maternal grandmother, Reva Lawson Frye.
Survivors include her daughters, Taylor and Caylin Wheatley; mother, Deana West and husband Gary; father, Lawrence Lawson; brother, Kevin Lawson and fiancé Kari O’Brien; paternal grandparents, Grady and Geneva Lawson; along with a host of friends and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm on Friday, July 12, 2019 at St. Matthew United Methodist Church. A celebration of life service will follow with Rev. Jeffrey Moncier, Rev. Randall Wright, and Rev. Gene Mullins officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses or to St. Matthew U.M.C at 2505 Nathan Street Kingsport, TN 37664.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the Avalon Hospice –Kingsport for their outstanding care and to the hospital staff, especially the Wilcox Hall 3rd floor nursing and staff as their care was exceptional.
