Obituary of Michael Keith Blye

Michael Keith Blye “Sky Blye” age 62, of Kingsport, TN passed away September 14, 2019. He graduated from Dobyns Bennett High School, worked at Eastman and served in the United States Army.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Alma Briscoe Blye.

He is survived by his father, Nathan Blye; mother of his children, Angel Blye; sons, Keyo Swagerty, Azmar and wife Jennifer Blye, and Brandon Blye;grandchildren, Makiyah, Milania, Ava, Rashaun, Braxton, Avery, and Brycen; brothers, Cornell and Craig Blye and George and wife Carolyn Smith; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:30am to 12:30pm on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Lester Turner Sr. officiating.

A military graveside service will follow at Mountain Home National Cemetery with military honors conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265. Pallbearers will be Marcus Blye, Kim Sensabaugh, James Greer, Ryan Smith, Jose Lytle, and Henry Horton. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Leeper, Michael Davis, Willard Long Jr., Tommy Henry and Bobby Jones.
