Obituary of Betty Sue Gibson

Nickelsville – Betty Sue Gibson, 71 of Nickelsville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at her residence following a brief illness. She was a member of Salleys Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Gibson; her son, James David Gibson; parents, Willie and Angie Bell Collins.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Angela Repass; son, Walter Gibson, Jr.; grandchildren, Kayla Kennedy, Cody Repass and Tristan Gibson; great-granddaughter, Kayvory Repass.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Scott County Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor George Winegar officiating. Music will be provided by the Salleys Chapel Church Choir.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Holston View Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m.
