Obituary of Linda Sue Gillenwater

Kingsport - Linda Sue Gillenwater, 72, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday October 27, 2019 at her residence following a long illness. She was born in Kingsport, TN on December 29, 1946.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Helen Eads; father in law and mother in law J.B. and Maudie Gillenwater; sisters, Jeanette Goins and Martha Dye; sister and brother in law, Patricia and Roger Sexton, sister and brother in law, Marylou and Joe Samples; brother John Eads Jr. and sister in law Janet Eads. 

Linda is survived by her husband, Jimmy Gillenwater; daughter, Tonya Gillenwater; brother, Jim Eads; several special nieces and nephews; special friend, Sheila; and beloved fur baby, Houston.

The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in the Share Life Room at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport.
