Obituary of Gregory Neal Simmons

Church Hill – Gregory Neal Simmons, 44 of Church Hill, passed away to his heavenly home on Wednesday December 11, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. He was a 1993 graduate of Volunteer High School. He was employed at Great American Cookie Company having loved his job and his working companions.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Ella Ruth Simmons; maternal grandmother, Grace Huff Roach; uncle, Bobby Simmons.

Greg is survived by his parents, Larry and Sue Smith Simmons; uncle and good friend, Bill Smith; several cousins.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 pm Sunday, December15, 2019 at Elm Springs Cemetery with Rev. Dave Light officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 2:45 pm. Band members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
