Obituary of Alice Darois Lane

Church Hill – Alice Charles Lane, 70 of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She retired from Eastman following 28 years of service.  Alice was a member of Long Hollow Primitive Baptist Church and recently attended Mt Carmel United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Matilda Fields Charles; her brother, Don Charles; sister, Glenda Charles.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Alison Osborne and husband Phil; grandson, Duke Osborne; granddaughter, Laney Osborne; sisters, Tammy Hickman and Tina Conway; brothers, Kenneth Charles and wife Linda, Dennis Charles, David Charles and wife Lisa and Gerald Charles and wife Rita; several nieces, nephews, aunts and an uncle.

The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 pm Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill.
