Obituary of Roger Dale Hensley

Roger Dale Hensley, 61, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at the Holston Valley Medical Center.

Roger was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. He was the son of the late Hubert and Mary Warren Hensley.

Roger had twenty-five years of service at Eastman Chemical Company. He enjoyed working outside, collecting watches and knives and riding motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, Roger was also preceded in death by one brother, Carl Hensley; one nephew, Scott Lee Shepherd.

Survivors include one daughter, Courtney Depew; one sister, Janice Shepherd and her husband Eddie; two brothers, James Hensley and his wife Penny and Archie Hensley and his wife Sharon; three grandchildren; special friend, Pat Mullins; special fur baby, Peyton.

It was Roger’s wishes to be cremated with no services.
