Obituary of Ronald David Crumbley

Ronald D. “Ronnie” “Pops” Crumbley, 66, of Kingsport passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, January 25, 2020.

He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend of many who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  

He was preceded in death by his father, David Crumbley; mother, Mary Louise Crumbley Cole; step father, John Cole; sister, Patty Riley; niece, Denise Crumbley.

 Ronnie leaves behind a loving wife of 35 years, Shawn Crumbley; sons, Ronald (Carol) Crumbley, Jr., Steven Crumbley and Jason (Amber ) Crumbley; five grandchildren; brothers, Lamar "Stumpy" (Joann) Crumbley, Gary Bruce (Janet) Crumbley, and Randy (Donna) Crumbley; sister, Barbara (Floyd) Patton; a very special niece, Crystal Jackson; special nephew, David Ivey; special friends, James Karnes, Jacob, Cindy and Ashley Russell, Joe Edwards and wife Gail, Sam, Ann and Michael Kassem, Johnny and Nikki Ball, and Sherri Russel; along with several nieces and nephews

 The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Tim Nelson officiating.
