Obituary of Gary Lynn Hopkins

Gary Lynn Hopkins, 69, of Gate City went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at his residence.

Gary was born on May 22, 1950 in Sullivan County to the late Wallace Gerald and Virginia Lee Strong Hopkins. Gary worked as a Union Welder for several years before his retirement.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Lillian Hopkins.

Gary is survived by daughter, Michelle Lynn Donihe; brothers, Robin Hopkins and wife Barbara, Warren Hopkins, Russell Hopkins and wife Deborah; two grandchildren; and three nephews.

Gary’s wish was to be cremated and a private service will be held by the family at a later date.
