Obituary of Seth Doyle Hensley

Kingsport- Seth Doyle Hensley, 28 of Greenwood, SC  passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. He was a 2010 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett and graduated from ETSU with a BS Degree in Construction Management Technology. After graduating Seth relocated to Greenwood, SC accepting a construction management positon with O’Neal Inc. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church of Mount Carmel, TN. Seth was full of life and would always bring a smile to your face. He always looked forward to seeing his family during his visits back to the area. Seth enjoyed playing golf, hiking and going to UT football games along with spending time with his girlfriend Allison and their dog Mollie.

Seth is preceded in death by his grandmother, Dean Hensley and his aunt, Patty.

Survivors include his parents, Tom and Sonya “Lane” Hensley; sister, Mysta Shea Fleming (Patrick); nephews, Liam and Luke Fleming; grandparents, Patsy Lane, Doyle Hensley, and Jim and Barbara Lane; special girlfriend of 4 years, Allison Jenkins and “niece” Phoebe; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private graveside service will be conducted at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Todd Haley officiating.

A “Drive-Thru” visitation will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, April 25, 2020.

The family appreciates all the prayers and support during this difficult time. Special thanks goes out to the Self Regional Hospital Staff in Greenwood, SC; his buddies/coworkers at O’Neal Inc. along with the contractors and to the Hospice House Staff for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
