My father worked with Jim many years going back to my elementary school days with Janet and Delores. I had the pleasure to work with both men later and considered them two of the most intelligent people I ever knew. The illness they both shared later in life temporarily took this from them while also bringing them together again. I believe they are both now at peace and know and understand all things because of their faith in Christ. Prayers for peace and comfort for the Austin family.

What a treasure we have lost. Jimmy was cut of the old cloth and stood by what he said. I always knew that Jimmy was my buddy. We shared many memories and I thank him for that. We had some real deep talks when we would go visiting together, sometimes when he drove the gray tank.I will always remember Jimmy helping me once when I was having a problem with my brother that had a drinking problem. As I expressed my displeasure with his problem being his great desire in life, Jimmy looked me in the eye and said "don't you remember Jesus hates what he's doing but he still loves him and you should too?" Some may think that's not much but it was huge to me. Yep, he was my buddy. See you later buddy.

Virginia and Family: I am praying for all of you during this time, even though we are not able to see each other. I was blessed to have Jim for a Sunday School teacher in the young adult class, and I learned so much from him. How comforting to know that he is with God now! Love you all!
