Obituary of Thomas E. "Big Tom" Feagins

Mr. Thomas E. “Big Tom” Feagins, 73, of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 9, 2020. Big Tom was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. He was the son of the late John Wallace Feagins and Mary Fraces Ragle Feagins.

Big Tom enjoyed riding and working on his motorcycle. He enjoyed going to rallies and road trips with his buddies. He was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church of Mount Carmel.

In addition to his parents, Big Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Carol Murray Feagins; two brothers, Larry Kenneth Feagins and Charles Edward Feagins; several aunts and uncles.

 Survivors include one daughter, Angela Ann Bellamy and her husband David; one son, John Thomas Feagins and his wife Sarah; one sister, Trudy Feagins Leake and her husband Warner; four grandchildren, Cheyann Bellamy, Tylor Feagins, Blake Feagins and Seth Feagins; two sister-in laws, Rosie Feagins and Frances Feagins; several nieces and nephews. The family of Mr. Thomas E. “Big Tom” Feagins will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Thursday, May 14, 2020, in the Carter Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating. The graveside committal service will follow in the Church Hill Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be his motorcycle friends, Tylor Feagins, John Robert Quillen and Ivan Ramey.
