Obituary of Amanda Jean Vance

Amanda Jean Vance, 31, of Church Hill went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 24, 2020 after a long illness. Amanda loved basketball and was a Tar Heels fan through and through. Her smile will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Smith; father, Gene Vance; grandmother, Shirley Lane; uncle, Douglas Smith; aunt, Charlotte Wallen; great-grandfather, Fred Wallen; and her cousin, Heather Braswell.

She is survived by her step-father and mother, Jimmy and Lisa Guss; grandfather, Randall Lane; step siblings, Heather Guss, Joshua Guss, Peyton Johnson, and Crystal Braswell; brother, Travis Braswell; sister-in-law, Kayla Smith; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Carter Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the Vance family.
