We were so sorry to hear of Dean's passing. He was such a wonderful man. I grew up next door to Dean, Ruth and Shirley, and our family kept up with the Trent's through the years. Shirley and Martha and the entire family have had such painful losses recently, and we continue to pray for them.
Growing up with Dean, Ruth and Shirley Patsy was a real hoot with something always going on. They were such fun and kind people.
Our heart goes out to the entire family. Dean's legacy will live on, but Kingsport and the region will miss his positive, caring and generous contributions to the community.

Mrs. Trent ,and Family, Where do you begin to explain such a generous Man as Mr. Trent was . there's not enough words to express His kindness to everyone . As an upstart Minister His words of encouragement before my first funeral service meant so much to me . He helped on several occasions with the cost of funerals to help people that just didn't have the finances to properly provide a funeral for their Loved One . He will be missed by everyone in the Kingsport area . I Will Be PRAYING that GODS Peace Will Overshadow YOU and the Family in the days and weeks that are ahead . GOD BLESS ..

Praying for the family of Dean Trent. Dean was a special friend to my parents, Junior and Maudie Vaughn. Dean and Martha would always bring my parents a ham or turkey at Christmas.
When my parents passed away Dean made sure our family was taken care of. Brent Warner was so kind and worked hard to make sure things were carried out as my parents wished. Dean will be missed by all who knew him.
May God be with Martha and the extended Trent family during this sad time. RIP dear friend..
Peace of Christ, Al and Denise (Vaughn) Doty
