Obituary of Jean Pierre Gagner

Jean Pierre Gagner “John”, age 67, of Hawkins County, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 23, 2021, with his loved ones by his side. John was born on September 3, 1953 in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. To know him was to love him and he was the light in his family’s life as they were to him. He was a retiree from Fluor at Eastman. He enjoyed farming and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Jane Cornell Gagner; and brothers and sisters, Alan Grady, Barbara Grady Wyatt, William Grady, James Grady, and Paul Gagner .

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Sis Dickenson; son, Todd Gagner and wife, Kiley of Cleveland County, NC; daughter, Courtney Hardin of Burke County, NC; son, Bailey Dickenson of Hawkins County, TN; grandchildren, Wyatt and Emma Hardin and Mia and Zoe Gagner; brother and sisters, Joan Grady Drake, Hugh Gagner, and Patricia Gagner Pruett, several special nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
