Obituary of Marilyn Ann Fleenor

Church Hill – Marilyn Ann Fleenor, 78 of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.

 

Born in Kingsport, she had lived in Church Hill for most of her life. She was a retired nurse, having worked at Holston Valley Medical Center for 30 years. Marilyn was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, momma, Ma, MiMi and Mamaw.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Babe and Marie Wood; brothers, Billy and David Wood.

 

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donnie Fleenor; daughters, Patricia Jervis (Gabe) and Tracie Reece (Bucky); grandchildren, Donya Fleenor, Matt Fleenor, Abbi Dickenson and Holden Reece; great-grandchildren, Laryn and Journeigh; sister, Phyllis Conant; brother, Tim Wood; special niece, Amanda Davis; several nieces and nephews.

 

At Marilyn’s request, there will be no formal funeral services.
