Obituary of Johnny Wayne Mills

Johnny W Mills, age 73 of Church Hill, entered in to rest on Tuesday May 11, 2021 after an extended illness.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, Letcher and June (Funk) Mills.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda Mills; daughter, Robin Johnson and husband Clint; son, Brian Mills and wife, Kathryn; granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth and Emily Johnson; sisters, Sandy Mullins and husband, Ellis, and Brenda Hubbard; brothers, Jeff Mills, Phillip Mills and Tony Mills; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks and gratitude to his very special niece, Joanne Sullivan for her support and help in Johnny’s care. They would also like to thank Suncrest Hospice nurses, Jackie Reeves and Sheila Adams, and Dr. Neglia for their care.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. Interment will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Bro. Chris Gilley officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
