Obituary of Tyler Davis Cappa

Tyler Davis Cappa, 26, of Princeton, WV passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at his mother’s home. He was a 2013 graduate of Princeton Senior High School where he was awarded Valedictorian. Tyler went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in business finance from Concord University. He was an avid soccer player and was involved in boy scouts. He was a loving son, grandson, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Marvin E. “Pete” Ratcliffe and maternal great-grandfather, Buddy Spires.

Survivors include his mother, Karin Dunn and husband Darrell; father, Franco Cappa; sister, Victoria Cappa;fiancee', MacKenzi Hughes; maternal grandmother, Gale Ratcliffe; paternal grandmother, Germana Dogliani; paternal grandfather, Mario Cappa; aunts, Kimber McMillion and husband Curtis, Kristina White and husband Mike, and Kandice Browning and husband Jim; uncles, William Cappa and wife Enrica and Larry Ratcliffe; cousins, Hunter Warner, Michaela Butler, Krystle Angle, Tiffany Little, Jonathan Ratcliffe,  Davide Cappa, Carolina Cappa, Chiara Cappa, and Lorenzo Cappa; along with a host of friends and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Friday May 21, 2021 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 122 Fairway Street Bluefield, VA 24605. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to a Homeless Charity of your choosing.
