Obituary of Sharon Earlene Stamper

Sharon Earlene Stamper 69, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She retired from Kingsport City Central Dispatch after 23 years of service. Sharon attended Ft. Robinson Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling with her family especially to the beach. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her by her parents, Earl and Alma Shanks.

Survivors include her loving husband of 22 years, David Stamper; daughters, Kristi Newberry, Allison Bailey, Jalene Gilreath, and Victoria Stamper; step-children, Kim and Kevin Stamper; grandchildren, Allan Newberry, Dylan Bailey, Christian Newberry, Chandler Thomas, Karessa Thomas, and Jathan Thomas; great-granddaughter, Emma Watterson;along with a host of friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Ft. Robinson Baptist Church. A celebration of Life service will follow with Pastor Dustin Allman officiating.
