Obituary of Jerry Whitley, Jr.

Kingsport – Jerry Ralph Whitley, Jr., 46 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Ella Ruth Austin; paternal grandparents, William and Mayme Whitley.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Christina Cavin Whitley; son, Cody Cavin and wife Savannah; daughter, Sara Leedy and husband Adam; parents, Jerry Whitley, Sr. and Paulette Austin Whitley; sister, Tonya Easley and husband David.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date.
