Obituary of Cindy Marie Skeens

Cindy Marie Skeens, 61, of Church Hill went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was of the Pentecostal faith and her faith was sufficient until the end. Cindy was a wonderful teacher of the word of God. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Emment Ryan; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Shirley Skeens.
Survivors include her loving husband of 24 years, Steven Skeens; children, Alex Carreon, Amanda Skeens and boyfriend Justin, Robert Carreon, Barbara Carreon, Peter Carreon, and Joshua Carreon; sister-in-law, Kathy Busick and husband Ronnie; special Pastor Larry Bledsoe and wife Carolyn; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. 

The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Calvary Worship Center in Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with sister Annie Porter and Pastor Larry Bledsoe officiating. Music will be provided by the Calvary Worship Center Singers and Grace and Autumn Sexton. 

A graveside service will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Alex Carreon, Justin Ketron, Billy Barrett, Anthony Sexton, Ronnie Busick, and Ethan Presley. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Presley, Levi Wallen, Kayden Sexton, and Klayton Sexton.
