Obituary of Jacke Grant Toler

Jacke Toler 66, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord and his son Tristan on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the VA Medical Center. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era and later went on to serve in the National Guard. Jacke enjoyed spending time at home with his family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tristan Toler; mother and step-father; four brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Joni Toler; daughter, Angie; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren ; two very special nieces, Rylee and Pearl Thacker; along with several brothers, sisters, and extended family.

A military graveside service will be conducted at 1oam on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Thacker Family Cemetery with the Honors conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265. Pallbearers will be Matthew Thacker, Jerry Thacker, Michael Thacker, Logan Thacker, Hunter Thacker, and Dan Thacker. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill by 9:15am to go in procession.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dawn, Christina, and Virgie for their loving care during this time.
