So sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Although I hadn't seen him in over 20 years, I thought of him often and wondered how he was doing. He was always so much fun to be around. My husband Pat and I thought the world of both him and Fonda. Prayers for his family and friends. God rest his soul.

So sad to hear about Gary R passing. Gary was such a awesome person , and friend. He was always very witty, and so funny. Such a joy to be around. Also had a smile on his face . He had a heart of gold, and one of the most friendly and kind people i have every met. You could always count on Gary, if you needed him. And Fonda his beautiful loving wife adored him. My heart is so sad and heavy for her, and i am sad i did not get to see, and say good bye to my friend Gary, before he left his earthly home. I knew Gary was a hero while in VN, but he never talked about it or even mentioned it, in all the times, and years that I knew him. That was not what Gary was about. I do not think Gary R ever considered himself a hero, but I did, that was a something i could see in him. In times of trouble he was there to do whatever he could ,to make thing better or help. But Praise the Lord, We that loved and cared about Gary R will see Gary again someday, when our race is over. Because he lives, and is finally home , with our Lord Jesus. Gary has run his race, fought his last battle, now he is totally healed, praising our Savior Jesus Christ. We will miss you dear friend, until we meet again in Glory. You and Rick Watch for me, because I will be coming, when I have finished my race, and the Lord calls me home. Joan Rhea Hodge
