My very heartfelt condolences to Greg's family! Greg was a very kind person. Greg was the engineer in the building that Meridian owns and he had been there for a very long time. Greg was an extremely hard worker, who always took a significant amount of pride and ownership in taking care of our building and our tenants. He will be greatly missed and very hard to replace! To make a long story short... My Parents just moved to Church Hill...I was just 10 yrs old and also the new kid in the neighborhood, one day these older kids about 16 yrs old...hit me in the face for no reason and this happened just outside of Greg and my Sister Tonya home, Greg had heard me crying and came outside to see what had happened... and he said to me.. "Don't ever let someone hit you and not try to fight back", and to this day I have always remembered that moment what he said to me and to say the least I've never had that problem again.

First of all, my heartfelt condolences to Greg's family and friends who loved him. Greg was simply a wonderful human being. I worked in the building (The Boro) for a number of years and that is where I met Greg. He was always professional, helpful, and kind, but more importantly, he was just one of the nicest humans you would ever want to meet. We shared many stories through the years and he always talked about his place in Tennessee and how much he enjoyed it. We shared plenty of laughs through the years too! In fact, he helped me get out of a trapped elevator one time; I was a bit panicked, but he talked to me through the doors to calm my nerves, which he did. When the doors finally opened, and I walked out, we just looked at each other, shook our heads, and just started to laugh uncontrollably. Every morning it seems I would run into Greg as I was making my way to my office; he always had a smile on his face and greeted me with a hearty hello. I will miss his sweet and kind disposition. Being remembered for one's kindness is a legacy that will live on in those who were privileged enough to receive it. Greg will never be forgotten. I pray for your healing as you continue your life's journey without his physical presence. May your good memories sustain you through this difficult time.
