I would like to express my condolences to the family of Mr. Charlie Owens. My husband, Edward Wyatt, worked with him at the power company for many years. Edward thought the world of him and respected him so much. He loved to aggravate Mr. Owens like he was known to do with people he really liked. Mr. Owens worked hard and "carried his weight" on the job. Edward always said, "Charlie was the real thing"! He was a kind, caring man who would help anyone he could. He was so nice and kind to me. I would describe him as a true "southern gentleman"! I can remember visiting him and Ms. Mary in their home. Ms. Mary was so sweet. I enjoyed talking with and visiting them. I'm happy they are together again throughout all eternity. I can imagine Edward there with them in Heaven teasing Charlie as usual! May God bless and comfort the family of Mr. Owens.
