Obituary of Doris Ellen Christie

Doris Ellen Christie, age 71 of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.  Doris was born on November 8, 1951 in Washington County, TN to Charles and Dorothy Krell.  Doris married J.W. Christie and after 49 years of a beautiful marriage, he preceded her in death on September 27, 2021.

Doris loved her family.  Her family was her everything, and she truly had a servant’s heart.  The love that she gave to her family will last for generations to come. 

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, J.W. Christie; daughter, Charlene Christie; and two brothers, Roger Krell, and Kent Krell.  Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jason Christie and wife Natasha; three grandchildren, Dylan Christie, Alexis Christie, and Dakota Christie; two brothers, Don Krell and wife Linda, and Carl Krell; two brothers-in-law, Mike Christie, and Randall Christie; and many other loving family and friends.  

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 3:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park with Don Krell officiating.
