Dear family of Marie, I am so very sad to hear of her passing. She was such a classy, beautiful, caring, lady whom I am so thankful to have known. We were in Home Interiors & Gifts together for many years, and had so many fun adventures together. It was always a joy to have her at meetings, training sessions, trips, and all in between.
She loved her beautiful family and would share about taking trips together. Harold was always a great support and I am sorry to have learned of his passing as well. I look forward to the day that we will reunite in our Heavenly Home. Until then my sweet and caring friend, Marie...

Scott, Anita & Lori, Please know that I am very sad to hear of your mother's passing. Marie was one of my best friends at church & we have shared many wonderful times together. Jim & I traveled with your mom & dad to Dallas, Texas many years ago & we had the time of our lives. I am so sorry that I will not be able to come to her visitation & funeral for I am having so much pain with my back & knees. I loved Marie & will always have memories of her. Praying for all of you & your families, Frankie Collins

Words cannot fully express the impact of a godly woman like Marie Snodgrass. I am so grateful to have been given the gift of marriage to her son, Rick, for almost 42 years. Marie wanted her son and family to know Christ. She strived to show the qualities of his love to them and others she met. Though none of us can be perfect here on earth, I believe she wanted to model excellence that would demonstrate her devotion to Christ. As our family traveled often in our church ministry, we lived mainly at a distance from our hometown of Gate City, Virginia. But, Marie and Harold, her husband, were there so many times, loving us and devoting themselves to our needs. I can think of few things more important than marriage longevity and love for family. What a blessing for those living here to have! Marie’s energy and enthusiasm were amazing. I remember fondly her daily habit of a 15 minute “power nap” as she called it. She was so excited to be a grandmother and loved our 8 children and 10 grandchildren! I know she touched many other lives with kindness and hospitality! I was a daughter-in-law who experienced her love and affection for me. Marie will be missed by so many here as we felt her love over her 84 years. But, one day, I look forward to seeing her again in the land that is fairer than day—In the Sweet By and By.

I am so sorry to hear that Marie has passed. I met her several years ago at a home interior party. She did several parties for me after that. I loved her dearly. She was one of the nicest people anyone could have ever met. I am thinking about her family and they are in my prayers. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
