Obituary of Nicholas (Nickey) Fox Susong

Nicholas (Nickey) Fox Susong, 65, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Johnson City Medical Center.

Nickey was born in Greeneville, TN on August 21, 1957 to the late Ray J. Susong and Phyllis Marshall Susong. Nickey worked at Eastman Chemical as a mechanic and pipefitter for more than 25 years. He enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles. His greatest joy was his son, Weston. He was a member of Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Weston Stone Susong; brother, Nathan Susong (Teresa); nieces, Amy Jackson (Nathaniel) and Rachel Blevins (Chris); great nieces, Hope Blevins and Kennedy Jackson; great nephew, Jake Blevins.

The family will receive friends from 2 pm to 3 pm on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 3 pm with Pastor John Herdman officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Monday, March 6, 2023, at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends who wish to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 pm.
