Obituary of Linda Geraldine Crawford

Linda Geraldine Crawford,  age 74, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport. She was a graduate of East Tennessee State University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Linda had taught at Pennington Gap Elementary and Carter’s Valley Elementary Schools. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Church Hill. Most of all, she was a wonderful mom to 2 blessed children and will be remembered for her love and care that she always showed to everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Keith Crawford; son, Jerry Keith Crawford; parents, James and Eliza Arnold; sister, Judy McCloud (George); and several half-siblings and step-siblings.

She is survived by her loving son, Jimmy Crawford (Sandy); grandson, Zachary Crawford; granddaughter, Danielle Perciful; 3 great grandchildren, Grant Perciful, Ellie Perciful and Emberly Perciful; sisters, Clara Lane (Rodney) and Alma Maude Williamson; daughter-in-law, Ginny Crawford; nephews, Neal Lane, Rodney Lane Jr., Jonathan Stokes and their families; and nieces, Leila McCloud, Sarah McCloud and Rachel Stokes and their families.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill with Pastor Neal Lane officiating and special music provided by Rodney Lane. Family and friends may gather for the service beginning at 1:00 pm.
