Obituary of Adriana Cosentino

Adriana Cosentino finished her life here in this world on Saturday, June 17, 2023 in Kingsport, TN at the age of 84.  Adrian was born July 14, 1938 to the late Raffaele and Dea Rizzitiello.  She was a Catholic and was born in Italy and came to America in 1956. 

Adrian is remembered by her family as a tough yet wonderful Mother, Aunt and Nona.  We will miss her smile and laughter.  She always made sure her family stayed in touch and hosted many holiday dinners and parties.  Christmas Eve will never be the same without the Feast of the Seven Fishes.  She loved her Italian traditions and we will do our best to continue these traditions with pride in her honor.

Adrian was preceded in death by her late Husband, Carmine Cosentino; Brother, Mario Rizzitiello; Sister, Rita Rizzitiello; and Nieces, Jean and Christina Rizzitiello.

She is survived by Son, Salvatore Cosentino and wife Kim of Kingsport, TN; Daughter, Rita Cosentino Redmond and husband Will of Woodstock, GA; Son, Carmine Cosentino Jr; Grandchildren, Jennifer Meisner, Keith Meisner Jr. and wife Jacqueline, Jonathan Meisner, Will Redmond III, Taylor Redmond, David White and Steven White; Great Granddaughter, Adriana Rose Landry, Niece Susan Rizzitiello, Nephew Tom Rizzitiello, Nephew Ralph Rizzitiello and wife Lilli.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport, TN. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Bro. David Dotson officiating. Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park at 1:00 pm. All those wishing to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:50 pm.
