Obituary of Regina Lynn Miller

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2 KJV Kingsport- Regina Lynn Fields Miller, 40, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday (April 11, 2015) after fighting a lengthy illness. She was born in Navajo, Arizona and had resided in Kingsport for the past 25 years. Regina was a graduate of Cedar View Christian School in 1993. She was a certified Pharmacy Technician and most recently was employed with the Sullivan County Highway Department for several years. Regina was someone that loved to cook. She attended Cedar View Independent Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Theresa Fields; maternal and paternal grandparents; 3 uncles and an aunt along with her grandmother-in-law, Flora Fields. Regina Lynn Miller is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, James Paul Miller; an uncle, Larry Fields (Florida); brothers, Audie Glenn (SC) and Danny Glenn (MA); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gwen and Allan Pope; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tami and Robert Bewley; an aunt and uncle, Mary and Dr. Jim Fields; a close friend, Teresa Woodward along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Cedar View Independent Methodist Church with Dr. Jim Fields and Rev. Timothy Strickland officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Ratliff, Will McClure, Rick Bragg, Gary Short, Gary Wilson, Joe Holtzclaw, Joe Berry and Brian Herron. Friends may also call anytime at the residence, 1322 Gibson Mill Road in Kingsport. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cedar View Independent Methodist Church, P.O. Box 143, Kingsport, TN 37662. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Miller family.
