Obituary of Eula Davidson

Ann (Vermillion) Davidson, 75, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 20th, 2018, at Holston Valley Hospital, after injuries sustained from a fall. Born in Kingsport, TN on October 31, 1942 and was raised in Scott County, VA. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Amanda Jane Vermillion. Ann Worked at Univac and North Electric-ITT for many years. Her passions were working and being outside, but her greatest passion was spending time with her large loving family, especially her one special granddaughter, who was the joy of her life. Ann was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She will always be remembered for her loving heart and quick wit, but most of all for being such a loving and devoted grandmother to her only granddaughter Kasi Ann. In addition to her parents Mrs. Davidson is preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 52 years, Herschell Vance Davidson, Jr; and her very special daughter Cindy Gail Davidson and son-in-law Michael L. Hatton; brothers, Harry, Jack, and Benny; sister Gail;, and other very special family members. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter Karen Ann Davidson Fandl, Kingsport, TN, daughter and fiancé Donna Davidson and Steve Candler;one and only very special granddaughter Kasi Ann Hatton, of the home; Brother, Joseph Gene Vermillion and wife Carolyn;three sisters, Jennifer Quillin, Judy Porter and husband George, and Joyce Berry and husband Larry; Brother-in-law Dean Davidson, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who she loved dearly, and two very loyal and loving fur babies, Gracie and Bobo. The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow in the chapel with Dr. Ted Hagen officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family at 1000 E. Center St. Suite 200 Kingsport, TN 37660. A very special loving thank you to Dr. Billie J. Minton, Evelyn Minton, and Rikki Rhoten for all of their love and support. To Ann these were her family. Also, a very special loving thank you to Ann's niece, Pam Gramberg and to Ann's sister Jennifer Quillen who have went above and beyond for the love and support they have always shown.
