Obituary of Henrietta Downs

Henrietta Downs, 74 of Kingsport, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Holston Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Down; her daughter, Lisa Downs; twin sister, Pat Lovelace and sister Peggy Kiser; brothers-in-law, Charlie Lovelace, Gene Thombs, Jim Raines; sister-in-law, Linda Howington; and nephew, Tim Lovelace. Henrietta is survived by her daughters, Sherry Johnson & husband Jackie, Crystal Burk & husband Randy; sons, Ricky Combs & wife Brenda, William Downs; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and a special friend, Jennifer Palmer. A celebration of Life service for Mrs. Henrietta Downs will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday February 3, 2018 at Shades of Grace, a United Methodist Congregation with Pastor Will Shewey officiating. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Downs family.
