Obituary of Pauline Clara Horton

Pauline Price Horton, 88, of Mt. Carmel passed into her everlasting sleep on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Church Hill Health and Rehab. Pauline was born in Hawkins County on December 14, 1929 to the late Arthur and Clara Price. She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. She was of the Baptist faith. Along with her parents Pauline is preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ramey; brother, Raymond Price; and sister Louise Derrick. Pauline is survived by her husband of 70 years John Horton; daughter, Kathy Pierce; granddaughters, Kelly Seymore and Amy Burchfield; great grandson, Lukas Burchfield; brothers, Roger Price and Emory Price; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Timmy Price officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 116 Jack White Drive, Suite 6, Kingsport, TN 37664. Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport is serving the Horton Family.
